In the dark, sound is your sight... and your death sentence.

ECHO is a minimalist 3D survival horror game where you are trapped in a pitch-black procedural labyrinth. You have no flashlight, no weapons, and no map. Your only tool is a sonar device that emits a short-range acoustic pulse.

You are not alone.

A blind, predatory entity stalks these corridors. It cannot see you, but it listens. Every time you use your sonar to see, you reveal your exact location. You must balance the need for information against the risk of death.

🌑 THE MECHANICS OF FEAR

• Echolocation: The world is invisible. Click to send a "Ping" that briefly illuminates the geometry of the maze in a wave of cyan light. Memorize the path before the darkness returns.
• Audio-Reactive AI: The Hunter tracks sound. If you ping too frequently, it will sprint toward the noise. If you stay silent, you are invisible—but you are also blind.
• Procedural Labyrinths: No two runs are the same. The maze layout, key locations, and spawn points are generated procedurally every time you enter the darkness.
• Sensor Overload: Panic is fatal. Spamming your sonar raises your noise level. If it hits 100%, your device screeches, alerting everything nearby to your location.

🔑 YOUR OBJECTIVE

1. Navigate the darkness to find 3 Orange Keys hidden in the maze.
2. Avoid the entity. If you hear the heartbeat, it is close. If the walls turn red, run.
3. Return to the starting point to escape.

🎧 RECOMMENDATIONS

Headphones are highly recommended.
The game relies heavily on 3D spatial audio. You will hear the creature's footsteps before you see it. Listen for the direction of the threat.
