Everything Is Fine is a small unsettling incremental game about thoughts, focus, patterns, and paranoia.

You start by clicking to generate Thoughts. Then you buy upgrades, unlock generators, build Focus, and find Patterns.

At first, everything is clean and calm.

Then the numbers start repeating.

Then the interface starts changing.

Paranoia makes your production stronger, but it also makes the game less stable. Eyes increase your gains, but they also make things worse. Focus lets you choose how to deal with it: stay disciplined, follow the obsession, or step back.

There are multiple paths and endings depending on how you play.

Features:

- Incremental / clicker progression

- Thoughts, Focus, Patterns, Paranoia, Eyes, Certainty, and Fragments

- UI distortion that grows with your choices

- Different play styles: control, obsession, refusal, or integration

- Multiple endings

- Original music layers that change as the game gets worse

- No jumpscare focus, just a slow feeling that something is off

The game is playable in browser.

Everything is fine.

OK so after digging through the code, I have at least a rough guide for all the endings:
-Submission needs 60 paranoia, 15 eyes, and less than 20 certainty when you buy "Let it in"
-Control you need either 35 control and under 30 paranoia, or your control has to be higher than paranoia x1.5 when you buy "define reality"
-Refusal, the clickable square will start glowing and beg you to keep going. just don't do anything for a minute and the ending triggers.
-Integration, you need like 20-40 fragments to buy the upgrade that gives that ending
-"Final" ending once you get the first 4, you'll need a lot more fragments to buy a few more upgrades.(might also need to buy the 3 upgrades for integration, submission, and control to get it to fire as well, I'm unsure.

still uncovering the new fracture endings, will add to it later.

(1 edit)

there's 3 endings for different route choices in fracture events: "Void" for rejecting the fracture and ignoring it, "Contact" for communicating with it, and "host" for trying to control it, plus what I assume is a 4th ending after you get all 3.
Void is still the hardest of them all to get, because you basically need to get the starter 0.1(1) paranoia production then DO NOT buy ANYTHING that increases paranoia production until you get the next fracture event, then start buying all the paranoia draining upgrades you can to put the production into the negatives.

This was incredibly enjoyable.

One thing.

If only that high #9 wasn't clashing so hard with the low C3, like a

Yes, it would solve world hunger. Probably.

Overthinking the music in an overthinking game aside, really great game, truly. Well made, well written, well done đź‘Ť

We might need more hints or control over the new fracture system. I've managed to accidentally fumble my way into 2 of the 3 new fracture endings, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to reach the third and final ending, even though I swear I was one choice away from it (then skipped it cause I wanted to keep that run going).I'm not even getting the same event tree anymore, and I don't understand for the life of me what I'm doing wrong at this point!

Thank you for the feedback I will look into improving the system. Your feedback is more than welcome

Can I at least get some help getting the "reject the fracture" ending?

Yes, that ending is reachable. It is tied to the Blank fracture route: choose options that deny, hide, erase, or remove the fracture rather than answering or studying it.

Once you have fully entered that route, the Mind panel should display “Blank” along with an “Absence” value. Keep building Absence, then take the final Blank choice.

The ending also requires low Paranoia, so it may not trigger immediately if your Paranoia is still too high.

If you find any issues please let me know

I can get the first fracture event, but for some reason I just never get to see the next fracture after choosing to ignore it. I'm gonna be blunt, I feel like I need a guide for when fracture events are allowed to trigger if I'm gonna get the last ending, because I have the sneaking feeling like I'm overshooting my goals from having all the prestige upgrades, but I can't find any way to verify that.

i am OBSESSED with the vibes of this. almost made me want to start keeping my own pattern journal
my singular complaint is that the descriptions of the resources when you hover over their names are unreadable because they overlap with the resource names below

(+1)

That’s honestly one of the best compliments I could get. A pattern journal would be very on brand.

And yeah, that tooltip overlap is bad. I’ll fix it.

I seem to be having an issue, sometimes when I purchase an upgrade after "something is off" appears in the shop, ticks stop updating, nothing generates, hold to click stops working, and regardless of how much you do manually after, refreshing the page takes me back to the same point just before any purchases after "Something is off" appears. The game is fun, but unplayable in this state.

Thank you for the bug report. I just uploaded a hotfix that should solve this issue. If it doesn't please try in a different browser

Glad it helped! Thanks for the comment

I have unblocked everything, but I am missing two endings between submission and refusal, and whatever is after integration. I will get to a point in the game where everything is unlocked. I cannot go further because of regret.

(+1)

The endings are Submission, Control, Refusal, and Integration. What lies beyond is the secret True Ending. With the last update you should be able to gain Paranoia and Certainty more reliably to reach those missing stages. Thanks for the comment!

(+1)

Okay, I might be dumb, how do you get the Control ending? Am I buying something I'm not supossed to?

(+1)

To reach the Control ending, you need to focus on stability. Invest heavily in Focus and Certainty upgrades while trying to keep your Paranoia low. Look for the 'Define Reality' upgrade in the shop—it's your key to this ending. Just make sure your Certainty is significantly higher than your Paranoia when you buy it! Thanks

hi! is there a particular threshold you need to meet before you can see the endgame upgrade? i've already reached all four normal endings, but through several resets i can't seem to see 'the absolute pattern.' also, after having reached an ending once, i can't experience it again. is that intentional?

You've hit a very important detail! Yes, endings not repeating is intentional. Once you've seen an ending, that upgrade will no longer reset your run. This allows you to 'collect' all final upgrades in a single run to trigger the secret ending. Thanks!

the download does not have a .exe if this is a mistake, please fix it if not then why isn't there one?

(+1)

Thanks for letting me know! I fixed that, at the momment the game is web only

thank you let me know when there is an exe yeah? because I really love the concept but don't have the spare time to beat in one sitting.

(+1)

Sure! I plan to make an exe somentime soon! But the browser version also saves your progress, so you don't need to finish the game in one sitting :D

great! :3

Loving it so far

feels like focus is a massive bottleneck, you barely generate any compared to what you need to spend. kinda frustrating with how reset heavy the game is

(+2)

Thanks for the feedback, I agree. Focus is probably too tight right now.

I’m going to add some new upgrades and adjust the balance so Focus generation feels better and progression has less friction. This should make resets feel more rewarding instead of just frustrating.

unique.

Thanks!!

so, how do i reach the final ending? i have submission, refusal, control, and integration. i also have all fragment upgrades purchased, but i cant seem to find the last ending. also, i cant seem to accumulate any starting paranoia due to said fragment upgrades, completely cutting off any progress past that point from what I've seen so far, unable to get any eyes or control loops.

Thank you for the comment and for finding this bug (and for playing, of course)!

I just fixed the bug with the Grounded fragment upgrade that was preventing you from gaining paranoia and reaching the last few stages.

A tip for the final ending: Since you've already seen the other 4, look out for a new upgrade called 'The Absolute Pattern' in the shop. It's the key to holding all those conflicting realities together! Try to get all the final upgrades in a single run to reach the true ending.

Thank you for the hotfix. However, I'm still having trouble finding The Absolute Pattern even if i have literally every upgrade purchased all up to framework being finished. is there a specific set of requirements i need to or need to not do?

Glad to hear the hotfix worked for you!

To unlock The Absolute Pattern, the game needs to register that you've seen the 4 base endings. If you already saw them before the update, just reach any base ending again, like Control or Submission, then click Continue.

The upgrade should appear in the shop on your next run.

You also need at least 30 Certainty and the other final upgrades purchased.

I’m traveling right now, so I can’t fully test it yet, but I’ll check it properly next week to make sure I didn’t break anything.
